The TFMZ coastal hub was launched at Building 41 Cowes on 4 March 2025.

The meeting was well attended by approx 50 experts and enthusiasts in the field and included presentations by Andy Hunt on a project for planting oysters along the coast for much needed sea water filtration and purification, followed by a talk by Jon Kidd, Cowes Harbour Master, on plans for the East Cowes Harbour and the opportunity for positive ecological impact, net zero initiatives and economic investments. We also heard from Sue Barker, the director of the Tidal Sean Project in Yaverland who presented plans for the sea pool including the deep thinking and multi-sector partnerships going into the overall scheme of the project https://isleofwightseapool.org.uk/

Our thanks to Spiralis Energy for their support of the meeting. Further coastal hub meetings are being designed.  Please contact us at info@togetherformissionzero.co.uk if you would like to find out more.
