Together for Tomorrow

There has never been a more important time to get involved and make a difference on our Island and in our world; to benefit people, place and nature in our local areas while responding to our collective global challenges, of which climate change is one.

The upcoming Town and Parish council elections (1 May) are an opportunity to play a part in shaping the future direction of the island, to inspire future generations of islanders and play our part in transitioning to a fair, net zero, nature positive, thriving Isle of Wight.

Parish Councils will spend £7 Million on the Island in 2025/26. However over 70% of parish council elections on the island are uncontested. There is so much scope for new ideas, new possibilities and new community voices.

Join us 13 March at the Riverside Centre Newport 6-9pm to hear more about what being a parish councillor involves, how you can help and how you can be supported by this community. More details to follow over the coming days. Please save the date and spread the word!
